How to register for the GMAT?


The GMAT is a necessary part of the business school application process. The first step is to register for the GMAT. The GMAT registration procedure is straightforward.


When can you register for the GMAT?

You can register for the GMAT between 6 months and 24 hours before the scheduled date. However, you will probably not be able to find a slot at the test centre at the last minute. As a result, you should try to register at least 2 to 3 months before your approximate exam date.

Online registration is a simple and easy process for registering for GMAT exams. Mainly the students apply via this process.

● E-Mail Address

● Phone Number

● Date of birth

● Address

● Nationality

● Payment Information(Debit/Credit Card)


Optional

● Work History

● Educational History

● Native Language


The Registration Process

You need a laptop or computer with a good internet connection to register for the GMAT There are mainly Seven Steps that you need to follow for the successful registration for the GMAT.


1. Sign up on mba.com

Go to mba.com and click the ‘Create Account button in the upper right corner. It will take you to the sign-up page, where you must enter your information.

● First name

● Last name

● E-mail address

● Password


You can also customize your communication choices and choose whether you want to receive information on financial aid, school recruiting, GMAT, management education, and other offers from business schools and GMAC.


Your account is created once you agree to GMAC's terms of use and privacy, and you may begin the GMAT registration process. Choose if you wish to register for an Online or At test-centre GMAT.


2. Start the Registration process

After Sign-up, log in to your account and then click on the ‘menu’ on the left side corner. Click on the Exams tab at the top of the page to be taken to the page shown. You must ensure that your Name, date of birth, and nationality match the information on your identification. (Your passport should be your primary form of identification.)


You will be prompted to fill out the following information on this page:

● Title (Mr., Ms., Mrs., Dr.)

● First Name

● Middle Name (s)

● Surname/Last Name/Family Name

● If applicable, a suffix (Jr., Sr., II, III, IV)

● The email address


After entering all the necessary information, click "Next" to enter your personal information.


3. Personal Information

You must fill up your personal information on this page. You must supply the following information: your country/region of residence, your address, your primary phone number, your mobile phone number, and your correspondence language.


4. Fill up the Optional information

The information requested by GMAT here is optional, and you may disregard it. You will be requested to supply some academic information on these pages.


5. Verification of the profile

Your profile will be verified by the GMAC account processing staff.


6. Schedule the GMAT exam

To schedule your GMAT exam, you will be prompted to choose up to three test centres near your desired location. Then you can select the day and time of your convenience, depending on availability.


When you click the Next button, the website will provide the available dates for each test centre around your desired date. If you cannot find your intended GMAT date, you can alter the specified test centre and search for it.


If you find your selected date, click on it, and the page will prompt you to choose an appointment time. You can select either the morning or afternoon time slot.


7. Pay the GMAT registration fees

Now, this is the last and final step of your GMAT registration process. You will be asked to confirm the appointment information and have 15 minutes to finish your order.


On the exam day, do have your passport with you and arrive at the test centre at least 30 minutes prior to the start time.
